Privacy policy: DodoLaunch SEO extension
Last updated 2 Nov 2026
This policy covers the "SEO Checker & Nofollow Link Highlighter by DodoLaunch" Chrome extension. For the dodolaunch.com website, see our site privacy policy.
The short version
The extension does not collect, store or send any personal data. Everything it shows is worked out in your browser.
What the extension reads
Only when you click its icon, the extension reads the page in your current tab: its title, meta tags, headings, links, images, structured data and social tags. It also requests that same website's robots.txt, llms.txt and the page's response headers, to show crawler rules. This information is displayed in the extension's popup and discarded when you close it.
What it stores
If you enter your own domain in the extension's settings, it is saved with Chrome's storage so the backlink check remembers it. It stays in your browser profile and is never sent to us.
What it sends
Nothing. The extension has no analytics, no tracking and no account, and does not send page data, browsing history or settings to DodoLaunch or any third party. Links you choose to click, such as "Full free report on DodoLaunch", open our website like any other link, and that visit is covered by our site privacy policy.
Permissions
- activeTab: read the current page after you click the icon.
- scripting: run the page reader and the link highlighter in that tab.
- storage: remember the domain you enter in settings.
Data is not sold, not used for advertising or credit decisions, and not used for anything other than the extension's single purpose: showing SEO information about the page you are viewing.
