## About

EraseMyBG removes the background from any image right on your Mac. It's built for people who cut out images often: sellers preparing product photos, designers, marketers and anyone who needs clean transparent PNGs without uploading their files to a website or paying per image.

The AI model runs locally, so nothing is ever uploaded and the app works offline. A second pass refines hair, fur and soft edges, and a Remove White mode keys out paper or solid colors from logos, signatures and scans. Export full-resolution transparent PNG, HEIC, TIFF or JPEG, or drop in a white, color, gradient, blurred or custom background.

It also handles volume: batch whole folders, set up watch folders, use the Finder Quick Action, Shortcuts or the command line, and crop with marketplace presets for Amazon, Shopify, Etsy and eBay.

EraseMyBG is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: $9.99 at the launch price (regular price $19.99), and one license covers up to 3 of your Macs. It runs on any Apple silicon Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

## FAQ

**Is anything uploaded?**

No. The cutout model runs on your Mac and your photos never leave it. The only time it goes online is a one-time license check.

**Is it a subscription?**

No. You pay once and keep it: $9.99 at the launch price, then $19.99. One license covers up to 3 of your Macs.

**Which Macs does it run on?**

Any Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

**Can it remove a white background from a logo or signature?**

Yes. Remove White mode keys out the paper or any solid color and keeps thin lines and lettering, for a clean transparent PNG.

**Does it remove backgrounds from videos?**

Not yet. Version 1.0 is built for photos and images.
